At Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club we take great pride in our employees, they are the ones that truly make the difference and set us apart from other fitness clubs!  We have a staff dedicated to delivering first class customer service and are always looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to help us with this mission.  If you join Premier, you can take pride in knowing you are part of an exciting, high energy fitness facility.

Regular Part-time and Full-time opportunities:

AQUATICS

Lifeguard

Duties are to guard pools and to ensure a safe and well run environment for members and their guests.  Lifeguards must know, communicate and enforce pool rules as well as be able to respond to emergencies.  Additional responsibiliteis include weekly cleaning duties, chemical readings and pool area upkeep.  Certification required: CPR/PR and Lifeguard.

Swim Instructor

Instructor's scope of responsibilities include teaching private, semi-private and group swim lessons.  Must provide safe and fun swim classes designed around the American Red Cross swim program.  Certification required:  WSI and CPR.  Must be able to work weekends.

Water Fitness Instructor

Instructors provide state of the art aquatic group exercise instruction that contributes to each member's health and fitness goals.  They also develop and instruct fun, energetic and highly motivational excerise classes for all fitnes and skill levels.  Certifications required: AEA or USWF and CPR.

BISTRO

Bistro Manager
Manager will be responsible for full operations of Bistro. Management experience in food and beverage required. Additional responsibilities include, inventory, menu development, and staffing.  Benefits include, salary plus bonus; family membership to Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club, and optional health benefits.

Team Member
Individuals will prepare and serve all menu items at the Bistro including shakes and smoothies, deli sandwiches, salads and wraps.  They are responsible for ensuring that the area remains clean and compliant with all health department codes and regulations; stock and inventory items and work with Point of Sale.  Requirements: 19 years of age and must attend a Food Safety workshop within 30 days of hire.

FITNESS

Personal Training

Trainers are responsible for attracting and retaining clients by promoting personal and group training services. Personal Trainers tailor fit personalized programs which meet clients goals and objectives in a variety of areas including strength, fitness and nutrition.  Certification required: prefer any of the following certifying organizations: ACSM, NSCA, NASM and ACE.  Trainers should have at least two years of experience and a specialty; strong in customer service, sales and computer skills as well.

Group Exercise

Group instructors will provide state of the art group exercise instruction that contributes to each member's health and fitness goals.  They are responsible for developing and instructing fun, energetic and highly motivational exercise classes for all fitness and skill levels. Certification: CPR and current class specific certifications (ACE, AFAA, Spinning, Les Mills, Yoga etc.)  Minimum of 6 months teaching experience.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

Sales represenatives actively sell club memberships by using a variety of sales techniques that include but are not limited to cold calls, membership prospecting, corporate contacts and direct mail offerings.  Individuals are also responsible for maintaining and improving positive relationships with current members as part of the complete club experience.  This position has salary and commission based pay achieved through monthly sales quotas and membership renewals as directed by Sales and Marketing Manager.

SERVICE DESK

Service desk employees provide a large, diversified clientele with outstanding customer service.  Duties include greeting members, checking members in, answering telephones, scheduling various services, operating point of sale system and handling member questions and concerns.  Individuals are also responsible for understanding and communicating club programs to affect retention and new membership sales.

KIDS CLUB

Kid's Club Team Member

Kids club employees engage the Premier junior members and guests in fun, entertaining activities.  Individuals are responsible for the welfare, health and safety of all the children in the Premier Kids areas. Must be comfortable handling children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.  Certification requirement: CPR Infant/Child; Basic First Aid or certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Summer Camp Counselor

Summer Camp Counselors are responsible for all campers and making sure they are safe, having fun and learning new things.  Counselors will help with planning the curriculum for all camps.  You must be willing to make to make an eleven week commitment and be available to work Monday-Friday.  You are required to attend 1 week of training and planning prior to the start of camp and the end of camp sleepover. 
Certification requirement: CPR Infant/Child, Basic First Aid prior to camp start date.

Maintenance

 

Men's  Locker Room/Fitness Floor
Women's Locker Room/ Fitness Floor

Attendants will maintain impeccably clean locker rooms at all times as well as interacting with members, promoting club activities and assisting members with their needs in the locker area.  They are responsible for the collection, transfer, washing, folding and re-stocking of both club and fitness towels.  Team members also are responsible for cleaning fitness equipment and ensuring all fitness areas are clean and maintained.

SPA
Massage Therapist

Therapists provide exceptional service to each guest and work as a team to promote spa treatments. Massage treatments include, but are not limited to, Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Upper Body, and Hot Rocks and Aromatherapy.  Certification: current license.

Esthetician

Estheticians provide exceptional service to each guest and work as a team to promote spa treatments. Services include waxing and facial treatments such as Custom Facial, Vitamin C, Caviar and Men's Facials  Certification: current esthetician license

Nail Technician

Nail technicians provide manicures, pedicures and other nail services to members and their guests.  Must be able to work as a spa team member promoting all spa services and also be strong in customer service.  Certification: current nail technician license.
