Richard Smith, General Manager

Richard Smith was born and raised in Lima, OH. He currently resides in Marysville, OH with his wife and four sons. Richard proudly served for 4 years in the United States Marine Corps before starting his career in the health and fitness industry. As a Marine Sargent he traveled to places such as Korea, Japan, Hawaii, and all over the states. His military experience prepared him for a career in which he would combine his passion for fitness and his desire to serve others. He brings with him over 11 years of industry experience in both management and sales. In addition, he has been a sports enthusiast from a very early age and looks for any opportunity to either play or attend a sporting event. Richard attends Marysville Grace church and looks forward to opportunities to give back to his community. He is always looking for ways to make someone’s day and help someone out. While he is devoted to his career and takes pride in his work, Richard is very family oriented and spends most of his spare time with his boys, participating and volunteering in their many extracurricular activities.

   
 
   

Gina Justice, Events and Marketing Director

Gina is the Events and Marketing Director at Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club and has been with the company for nine years. While having many accomplishments during her career at Premier a few highlights include events such as Ladies Night and the Summer Kickoff Pool Party and accelerating Premier’s social media presence. Gina is currently back in school for a degree in Digital Design and Graphics and hopes to keep Premier in the forefront of the competition with marketing, events, and branding. Gina is married and the mother of 3 children; Christian 29, Nate 26, and Jerica 18. She currently lives in Grandview Heights with her daughter, husband, and their crazy fat cat, Peaches. Gina also loves painting and drawing, listening to music, and watching movies.

Tyler Price, Assistant Account Coordinator

Tyler has been at Premier for a little over two years. He was a mainstay at the Service Desk before moving into the membership office in October 2016 to become the Assistant Account Coordinator. He prides himself on being able to connect with almost every member that walks in the doors at Premier. Born in Phoenix, Arizona and having bounced around central Ohio growing up, Tyler graduated from The Ohio State University in 2013 with a degree in Human Nutrition focused on Community Health. He also works part time at The Ohio State Scarlet Golf Course doing landscape maintenance. When Tyler is not on the work grind, he can be found volunteering at Rock City Church, strolling around the Columbus Short North District, or enjoying any and every sport imaginable.

 
     


 
 

Cassandra Guzik, Member Account Coordinator

Cassandra was born and raised in Upper Arlington,Ohio, and now currently resides in Dublin. After high school, Cassandra moved to California to pursue film producing. During her 4 years there, she worked on over 50 projects including Lifetime's Stalked at 17. After completing her degree, Cassandra moved back to Ohio to spend time with family, while working on films remotely. While in Ohio, Cassandra began as an Account Executive in the sales office at Premier, before moving up to Membership Account Coordinator. In her free time, Cassandra also enjoys scrapbooking, making cards, and other arts and crafts projects.



     
     
   

Jill Sandbo, Apartment Member Coordinator

An employee for over eight years, Jill originally started at Premier at the Service Desk then moved into the position of Human Resources as well as the management of Premier’s apartment membership program. Jill has spent a majority of her life in Columbus Ohio, where she graduated from The Ohio State University and later along with her husband Steve, raised three children. When she is not at Premier, Jill spends time traveling with Rotary International as well as visiting her three grown children and families.


     
     
   

Mark McCahill, Account Executive

Mark was born and raised in Fairchance Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University in the summer of 2010. After graduating, Mark moved to Ohio with his wife, Keshia. Prior to coming to Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club, Mark spent five years working for Aaron’s Sales and Leasing as General Manager and Accounts Manager. For the first quarter of 2014 Mark won the nationwide award, “Best of the Best” Accounts department”. Mark is an avid West Virginia University Sports fan and in his free time, he loves to listen to music and read artists biographies. Mark was in a very serious car accident in 2002 that has taught him to appreciate all the small things in life.

     


Amber Hammons, Account Executive

An employee for over 2 years, Amber started at Premier working in the locker room. She has also worked at the front desk and is now a part of our member services team. Amber grew up in the small town of Versailles, OH. She moved to Columbus at the age of 21 where she has resided ever since with her son. When not at premier Amber enjoys spending time with family and visiting her hometown.

Joshua Deschaine, Member Services Team Lead

Josh was born and raised in Columbus Ohio. He is married to his wife Angela and they have two children, Aubrie(age 6) and Brody(age 3). Before starting his career here at Premier, Josh worked in the financial industry, mainly in the banking sector. Josh enjoys playing golf, hanging out with his family, and attending services at Rock City Church. Josh is a huge Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavs fan but loves the Ohio State Buckeyes the most. Josh is excited to get to know Premier's members and looks forward to helping as many people as he can.

   
     
   

Kevin Murphy Personal Training Manager

Kevin has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a personal conviction for helping others. Kevin has over 15 years of experience in the Health and Fitness Industry. Kevin has experience as a personal trainer, a personal training director, as well as General Manager. He is a U.S. Army Veteran where he served as an Airborne Combat Medic in the 82nd Airborne Division. His passion for fitness and healthy living is what draws him to the fitness industry, his passion for people and making a difference is what drives him as a manager.

     

 
 

Shelli Sanzo, Group Fitness Manager

Shelli was raised in Columbus and attended Ohio University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Shelli completed her Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration in 2004. Shelli always enjoyed and played sports and decided she wanted to help others fall in love with being active. Shelli began teaching Les Mills BODYJAM in September of 2008 and continued with BODYSTEP (2012) and BODYATTACK (2014). Shelli also has a Primary Group Fitness Certification and teaches BootCamp classes. When Shelli is not at Premier she is the Athletic Director at her children's school, coaches volleyball and works with different sports teams to help with strength and conditioning. Shelli has 3 daughters, ages 12,10 and 6.

     
     
   

Jeannine Davidson, Aquatics Director

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio and a current resident of Columbus, Ohio. Jeannine is a graduate of The University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science degree in Psychology. Jeannine is a volunteer for the American Red Cross where she participates in disaster relief efforts during major disaster events. She also teaches American Red Cross classes such as Lifeguard and CPR/AED/First Aid. Something unique about Jeannine that most people do not know is that she participates in a foreign exchange program and introduces foreign children to the traditions of the United States.

   
     
   

Erika Pettijohn, Assistant Marketing and Events Director

Erika has been working at Premier for almost 14 years throughout many different departments including the Service Desk, Member Services,  Kid’s Department Manager and is currently working in the marketing and events department.  Erika graduated from Ohio University. She is enjoying life with her husband of four years, Tommy, and their two adorable boys, Colton, 2 years and Wyatt, 2 months.  When Erika is not here at Premier, she is with her crazy but adorable dog, Tucker, or spending time with her friends and family.

Dee graduated from OSU with a degree in Family and Human Development and is a Licensed Social Worker for the state of Ohio. Dee also works as a consultant for Action For Children and teaches parenting and educational classes. Dee has been working at Premier At Sawmill for over 20 years and is now the Kids Club Manager. Dee enjoys working with families and children to help foster positive development. Dee has a husband of 30 years, Richard, and a 27-year-old son, Sean, and live in Galloway Ohio. Dee enjoys gardening, water aerobics, riding her bike and being with her family.

John was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and currently resides in Clintonville with his wife and daughter. He enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing, golfing and boating. John and his family love the water, the ocean most of all, and make it a point to travel there whenever they get an opportunity. Marcia Jackson, Service Desk Manager

Marcia was born and has lived in Columbus, Ohio her whole life. Marcia has two wonderful daughters and they both work here in our Kids Club/Zone. Marcia has been an employee since she was 16 and worked in our ladies locker room. Marcia enjoys working out, traveling, and going to watch her daughters volleyball games.          

             
     
   

Doug Ruby, Racquetball Director

Doug is the Racquetball Director at Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club and has been playing racquetball for over 40 years in and around Columbus. Doug enjoys providing lessons for new racquetball players and prepares clinics on a monthly basis for those players that want to learn about the sport. Doug is a graduate of Franklin University, lives in Hilliard and has a son and a daughter that live in the Columbus area. Doug is also a sponsored player with E-Force Racquetball and enjoys playing in local tournaments.
